Helios-44-2 lens in good condition. The lens shows only minimal wear.
These lenses usually have a big amounts of lubricant from the factory. From time this lubricant goes liquid and sooner or later it goes to the aperture blades and make them wet and oily. This lens was completely disassembled, ALL old lubricant and liquid oil were washed out in ultrasonic bath. Then the lens was carefully lubricated with a small drop of lubricant. Aperture blades are absolutely dry now. THIS LENS WILL NEVER HAVE OIL ON BLADES
The barrel is clean and nice. Some microscopic cleaning marks on glass are possible. The glass is very clean without any fog, separation, fungus, and so on. The rings are smooth.
All gear works as it should, the rings are smooth, calibration is correct. Checked with the camera, provides perfect image.
