USB PORTS are powered by splicing into the cigarette lighter power and ground wires that are fused. The ports are 5 volt, 3 amp, 15watt. The connectors are included along with zip lock ties to secure the usb transformer to a bracket behind the CD storage trays. The installation takes about a hour and I will include some written instructions.
