In 1980s, there were many significant changes amongst construction equipment manufacturers as companies merged, underwent acquisition or formed joint ventures.

Some of the biggest changes occurred in West Germany (before unification). 

In 1986, Hanomag formed an agreement with another well established Germany company, enabling it to promote a modified version of the Sennebogen 526/SR26 under the name of 'Hanomag HC260'. 

Made in Germany by Conrad, this diecast, 1:50 scale model with original box was presented to me shortly after the first 'Hanomag HC260' was officially announced. 

It has never handled and only taken out of the box for photographic purposes.   Accordingly,  it is in pristine condition and I can only assume that all original functions are still working.  The box is in good condition bearing in mind that it has been stored for almost 40 years.
