This Banisteriopsis strain was introduced to Hawaii by Terrance McKenna over 30 years ago.    It is the common strain here that can now be found growing wild and has naturalized over many generations.  Some refer to it as the “Maui Cielo” strain.   Its energetically grounding, deep, forgiving, and peaceful.

This listing is for 20+ live Greenwood cuttings.   Some will have roots starts, some will just be greenwood.   Thickness ranging from pencil thickness to somewhat smaller.   See pictures for reference.  Upon purchase I will harvest runners from wild mother plants in the rainforest.   May take up to 2 weeks to process as I individually harvest for each order and the vines are hidden some ways into the jungle.  Plants are shipped in a ziplock bag via USPS priority.

Plant 5-10 cuttings per pot.   Make sure all roots are submerged in a well draining potting mix with some areas out of the cutting out of the pot.   Will take 2 weeks - 3 months to see growth.    Likes shade and high humidity, water frequently.   Zone 11a or higher.  Needs to be warm enough to support coconut trees.  Green growth will die back below 45F.  55+ inches of rainfall needed to sustain outdoors.

Happy Growing
