Got this a couple of months ago, but feels so different to my strat, can not get used to it. Is set up better than when it arrived, and some of the shine has been taken off the fingerboard, as it felt sticky. Cost £499, but just have to accept its not for me.
Can send any other photos to interested buyers, Thanks for looking.

Product Description

Sire's T7 model takes the iconic T-style guitar formula to new heights — both sonically and playability-wise. A continuation of their relationship with jazz fusion legend Larry Carlton, Sire's modern take on the traditional T-type keeps the legendary aesthetic intact, but comes supercharged with several contemporary features in order to appeal to today's generation of performance-conscious players.

Key appointments include a rock-solid roasted Maple neck with a rolled-edge fingerboard, medium jumbo frets, locking tuners, brass bridge saddles and a highly-flexible pickup set. Available at a fantastic price-point to boot, like all Sire instruments, the stunningly-crafted T7 electric guitar is a brilliant T-style alternative that perfectly blends timeless vintage charm with cutting-edge modifications.

Classic T-Shaped Body

While Sire's T7 model departs quite heavily from the original T-type blueprint, it does pay homage to this seminal instrument with an orthodox Alder body that guarantees a tight, balanced sound — the perfect tonal platform for the pokey pickups.

However, Sire has put its own spin on this recognisable body shape by adding a shallow contour at the back of the lower cutaway. This minor yet thoughtful construction tweak therefore enables easier access to the upper frets, so that there are less limits to your creativity!

Roasted Maple Neck

Many modern high-end instruments come fitted with roasted Maple necks, yet Sire has somehow managed to fit its affordable T7 with one — providing you with a truly premium look and feel. "Roasting" is a process that is used to remove all of the natural moisture retained by a tonewood, which ultimately darkens the material and makes it far less vulnerable to warping when exposed to varying climates. This means that the T7's neck is incredibly stable — vastly improving tuning stability.

Proprietary 'LC Super-T' Pickups

Sire has equipped its gorgeous T-inspired model with a set of newly-designed 'LC Super-T' single-coils. Delivering that unmistakable "twang", these pickups ensure that the distinctive voice of the definitive T-style remains — albeit with a slightly hotter, overwound quality that produces more output. This makes the T7 a tonal chameleon that's adaptable for most musical styles — from country and jazz, to indie-pop and even hard rock!

High-Quality Hardware

Hardware can be an afterthought for some guitar companies, but Sire has made sure that every detail is executed to perfection with its T7. Boasting a beautifully-machined box-style bridge, a signature feature among '50 and '60s T-types, the T7 also sports genuine brass saddles that enhance sustain and note resonance.

A set of Sire 'Premium Locking' tuners significantly cut down string-changing time so that you have more freedom to play, with less winds required around their posts too — reducing the likelihood of tuning slips.
