Up for auction is ONE EACH small corn remedy bottle/vial from the famous Star Drug Store in Galveston, Texas that is still in operation today.
I have 2 of these vials left now, one has already been sold, this buy it now is for one single vial only.
One interesting and highly collectable aspect about this item is that it lists Cannabis Ind. as one of the primary ingredients !!!
Some of you collectors out there may remember a few of these being sold several years ago by me, well I have come across a limited stash of a very few more.
Way back in the mid-late 2000's I was involved in the oil field service industry primarily based in Houston, Texas, so, was in the area before, during, and after hurricane IKE.
As far as I know, these original examples were all from the same local source of which I purchased most of what he had left at the time plus some of just the single labels. This guy was involved in the massive Hurricane IKE cleanup and salvage operations down in Galveston in September 2008 that devastated the Texas gulf coast region.
He had discovered this small hoard in a flooded out warehouse in the Galveston wharf area very close to the actual Star drugstore original location on 23rd Street.
Now, I thought I'd sold all of these that I had left several years ago (remember guys these were found in 2009 so its amazing I still have a few left) - but I have found 3 more single vials I had in storage. I'm pretty sure this must be all of them though other than an example I still have on display in my personal collection.
There have been a few other fantasy star drugstore labels created in the past, just google it - all the original star drugstore cannabis labels looked exactly like these and all came from this same source.
These are the real McCoy original ones, the ones I've seen before with a large star are fake fantasy labels, I guarantee that these are 100% REAL as I was the second hand source to all of these originals !!!

Height is about 2-1/2 inches to top of cork, diameter is about 1/2 inch or so, slight height variances between vials due to the cork height differences.
These do not look to have ever been used or held any product and are obviously clean unused and totally empty now.
GET a piece of Galveston's early history NOW while you can as there simply couldn't be too many more of these lying around after all the destruction and flooding this city has experienced.
