Military Army boots, originally made in 1943 (check out the stamp on the upper in the 5th picture). Leather sole and uppers.
These are similar to a 1959 Army boot listed by other eBay sellers, with a slightly square toe. But this earlier model has a leather sole instead of the rubber sole in the later model. They were sold as size 44 (size 9.5 UK) but fit a size 9 and are sold as such.
Re-heeled (the original heel had a steel insert and a part-wooden base). I have kept the steel insert and will enclose with the boots if you want to reinstate them. The boots show signs of wear but have been treated several times with mink oil. The leather is supple, there are no cracks and the stitching is all sound. Please check the pictures or ask questions. No P&P rip-offs. New laces and a new insole come with the boots.
