A spring green and white cotton fabric forms the background for this basic nine patch square block quilt.  It was top stitched by hand and the blocks contain smaller squares of fabrics of the era.  The backing is the same spring green and white cotton and the fill is very thin cotton.  Light weight so probably intended for warm weather use.  Circa 1920-30 and measures around 71 x 72 inches.  Very clean although there is some light oxidation on edges and a touch of it on the center fold.
