This is a vintage, circa 1950's, cased Glass Sommerso Vase, designed by Vicke Lindstrand for KOSTA of Sweden.

It stands 6 & 3/8" tall, is 3 & 3/8" at its widest point (mid-section), and sits 2 & 1/4" deep.
It is signed, along with its model #46449, as shown.
It retains a sticker label originating from the glass shop 'C.E. Fritzsche' of Denmark, 
an art glass retailer since 1788.

As shown in photo #6, it has a patchy area of exterior scratching on its side, towards its base.

It is otherwise in great condition, with minimal evidence of use or handling.
