We use a 6 point grading scale so you can be sure of the quality of the product you are purchasing!  eBay sellers have their own way to describe their items, this is ours:

• Pristine / Mint Condition: Items are in original mint condition.  These listings will commonly be new or unused in original packaging.

• Near Pristine / Near Mint condition: Items may show very slight signs of use, including light surface scratching from utensils or other minor signs of wear that are generally not noticeable unless closely inspected.  

• Excellent condition: Items may show signs of light use and/or some slight design fading.  No chips, no cracks, no crazing, no discoloration, no stains, and no repairs.  Typically ideal additions to sets already in use.

• Good condition: Items may have previously been used on a more moderate basis, thus may have noticeable surface scratching from utensils, noticeable design fading and surface abrasion from normal use and/or shelf storage.  These items will NOT have any chips, cracks or repairs. Items are still considered to be in a very presentable state.

• Fair condition: Items show moderate to heavy amounts of use, either in the form of utensil scratches, design fading, surface abrasion or a combination of all three.  May include chips, cracks or crazing and will be pictured and described accordingly.  We try our best to maintain an inventory free of items that can only be described as in fair condition.  Often these listings will be accompanied with an "as-is" disclaimer.

• Poor condition: We typically do not sell items in poor condition unless it has a residual historical or collector's value to it.  These items may be failing the test of time, but no chip, crack or any amount of crazing can strip such an item of its true value.

In addition to our grading scale, we do our best to specifically describe each item that may not clearly fit into a single grading category.  Items with particular defects are typically pictured, ergo each photograph included with this listing contributes to the overall description.
