You are bidding on a lovely Antique Wax Over Composition Doll. She has beautiful Blue Glass Eyes, Brown Hair, Composition Hands and Feet and a Molded Hat. She is dressed in a blue dress with pockets, glass buttons and pleated ribbon trim. She has blue glass earrings and white cotton pantaloons and petticoat. She is sporting a FIRST PLACE PURPLE RIBBON from the 1954 United Federation of Doll Clubs Inc., in the “Wax over composition” category at the Fifth Annual Exhibition in Miami Beach, Florida. Where she was already a true antique. Dating from the late 1800’s, she is in good Antique condition with some ware to face and clothing (see photos). A lovely addition for your collection.
