Vintage National Electric Instrument Co Shock Proof Controller & 4 Glass Rods.


I inherited this from my dad. Not sure where he would have got it from.

I'm not sure what it is exactly, but it plugs into a light fitting and then the glass rods are attached to the cable (see photo). In a listing in America, the original box states that it is for operating all illuminated diagnostic instruments.

It was manufactured in Long Island, New York and is for use on American voltage/electrical systems. Due to this, it is untested. 

Could be from the 1920s/1930s.

There is some damage to the inside of the box (see photos).
