Pretty scarf with s ruffle edge. Very mod looking. Think Mary Quant. Mini skirt, white gogo boots. My guess is the late 60’s, early 1970’s. White with yellow plaid stripes. (see my photos with crayons and other solid chiffon scarves i am listing for comparison). I hand wash all of these even if they’re machine washable so they will not snag.

My mother-in-law like to shop at higher end stores and it’s good quality. This was not some thing she found in a thrift store . Was from my Mother-in-law‘s dresser. She’s from the “Mad Men” era, and a businessmans wife…. Cocktail parties, lots of dress up. She’s 95 now. Her hair was nearly black when young and her skin the olive that Sicilians have. So peach, beige, yellow, these colors looked great on her. So we have about 20 scarves ( at listing time) in those colors. Please check them out.
