POPEYE comics by DELL BOOKS, 5 issue lot from 1948-1951, including # 1, 2, 5, 12, 16.

The conditions range from Poor/Fair to Fine/Fine+. Pictures are included to allow you to decide for yourself. Here's a breakdown:

#1 - rusty staples, missing centerfold, a couple of small tears to the right side of the cover.

#2 -  visible creases to cover, bottom right corner edge turn away from the cover and first 9-10 pages. This reduces considerably towards the inside which leads me to believe this is from tearing, but chewing.

#5 - corner missing from the right of the cover.

#16 - subscription crease.

I checked page by page. No pieces missing. No markings or brittleness. Surprisingly clean interior pages on a few of these books. In fact, all have very supple paper quality to the interiors. Even the inside of the covers are fairly light, none of that hasn't tanning to the edges except on #12 that you can see in the pictures.

Ya' know, decent lot.
