Antique German 800 Silver Fish Server

Bruckmann & Sohne / Art Nouveau / circa 1890

This lovely antique German 800 silver fish server was made by German silversmiths, Bruckmann & Sohne, and is engraved with a phoenix and a dragonfly perched on a plant and features engraved punch-work dots on the handle and blade.

It measures 10.75 inches in length, with the blade measuring 8.25 inches and the handle, 4.5 inches.

 It is hallmarked with:

a crescent moon and crown for Germany

800 for 800/1000 silver

an eagle for Brtuckmann & Sohne

The server is in wonderful antique condition, with a few light scratches on the blade from use.
