Uncommon Vintage Hand Wrought Copper CANDLE HOLDER w/Wax Cup (#131)
Description of item...
Here we have an interesting Arts & Crafts hand wrought solid thick gauged copper CANDLE HOLDER with a riveted WAX CATCHER CUP - displaying a textured band formed handle blending into the base, flared at the end for extra stability. The bottom is stamped, "HAND WROUGHT ~ 131."
It measure approx. 7-1/2" long x 3" cup wide x 3-1/2" high.
It is in very good maintained (displayed/used) shape with no dings or dents, and is being offered in "as found" condition. It has not been clean or polished since acquired, currently showing a beautiful naturally aged copper patina.
Came from a private home collection of many years, however the exact age and maker are unknown, circa 1930-50's. This item weighs approx. 1-3/4 lbs., add 2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
