Many pedals mimic the distortion of a vacuum tube. However, we have achieved the authentic sound by using real vacuum tubes. The core of the design is the NOS (*New Old Stock abbreviation) 6205 preamp vacuum tube made in the USA. A 3-band EQ with tight control, its own level and boost, and a switchable boost makes it easy to get the sound you want. Co-designed with Bruce Ignater, the MTG TubeDistortion is a completely original Fender circuit. To make sure it was ready for performance, we had musicians use it and refined it with their feedback. The chassis is made of lightweight and sturdy anodized aluminum material. Jewel LEDs reminiscent of Fender amps give your pedalboard a traditional Fender look, and LED backlit knobs let you see control settings at a glance, even on a dark stage. Use MTG Tube Distortions at your next gig or session and add realistic tube distortion.

New Models for Fender Effects Pedals

New models of Fender effects pedals were unveiled at NAMM SHOW 2019. The lineup includes a variety of unique models, from the first bass effect in the series to a rotary speaker simulator and a newly designed distortion with vacuum tubes. Not only the sound, but also the innovative and easy-to-use controls and the simple and sophisticated design are appealing.

MTG Tube Distortion

Full-fledged distortion with vacuum tubes

Equipped with a military-grade NOS 6205 submini-tube, the MTG Tube Distortion boosts the voltage to 150V and produces authentic tube sounds. The TTG Tube Distortion is equipped with a boost function and can be used for backing or soloing. In addition to the 3-band EQ, a "TIGHT" control is also included to bring out more detailed nuances in sound making.

NOS 6205

The NOS 6205 is equipped with a military-grade subminiature tube inside, boosted up to 150V for a rich tube sound. This provides a rich tube sound with a boost voltage of up to 150V, resulting in a much better picking bite and response.

Boost function

A booster is included as standard. It can be instantly switched between soloing and backing, allowing the player to concentrate on his or her performance to the fullest.

LEDs

The controls and indicators are equipped with LEDs for high visibility in the dark. The LEDs on the chassis can be turned on and off with the switch on the back.

TIGHT Control

In addition to the 3-band EQ, a TIGHT control is additionally equipped. This allows for more severe tone setting according to the environment.
