Wide range distortion sound

The STAMPEDE DT/SDT-3 is equipped with the low-noise up-converter power circuit used in the STAMPEDE OD/SOV-2, which boosts the internal operating voltage from 9VDC to achieve a wide dynamic range that cannot be achieved with a typical 9VDC driven distortion pedal. This allows it to drive large stack amplifiers. This allows the pedal to reproduce a distortion sound with a heavy bass, as if driven by a large stack amp. The GAIN and tone control can be adjusted to create a wide variety of distortion sounds, from natural crunch to dirty distortion like a Fuzz.

2-band equalizer

A 2-band equalizer is provided for TREBLE and BASS. Combined with the GAIN control, it produces powerful distortion and a wide variety of sound characters.

S.C.T. Circuit

The STAMPEDE DT's circuit is a single-contact true-bypass circuit that allows the audio signal to pass through only one circuit when bypassed, whereas a normal true-bypass circuit allows the signal to pass through two circuits when bypassed. As a result, the reliability of the product is improved and the sound quality is higher than ever before.

D.C.G. Circuit

The D.C.G. circuit (double contact grounding circuit) is used to connect the ground side of the effector with two contacts on the shield side of the mono plug connected to the output jack. By increasing the contact area, contact failures are less likely to occur, which is advantageous in terms of sound quality.

LED multi-functions

The LEDs on the STAMPEDE DT not only indicate the ON/OFF status of effects, but also monitor the battery voltage. When the battery voltage drops below approximately 7V, the LED will begin to turn off. Although the effect sound is still output in this state, we recommend replacing the battery in order to fully demonstrate the performance of this unit.
