There are scratches and chipping due to aged deterioration,

The hardness of this grindstone is Lv4.5/ 5. 
Smooth sharpening, strong abrasive power. 
It is cashew protected except the abrasive surface. The mine is unknown but the Renge is Suita with red and black coexisting. I do not feel that the diagonal striations on the sharpening surface have a bad effect on the polishing. 
If you encounter any obstacles during use, please dig out the streaks with the tip of an iron nail or the like.
