We closely inspected for any flaws or issues. This piece is in very good condition. It appears to me that the border is more contemporary. I suspect the quilt topper was vintage and someone created a border and completed the quilt probably sometime in the 1980s. The back of the quilt has been equipped with holders for a rod to hang on the wall.
