A Police Officer’s friend on dark nights, this lamp is called a Bullseye lantern, so called because of the big, round ‘eye’ in the centre. This lamp was designed by a Police Officer who won a financial prize for saving the Force money in oil, compared to the version used before. only one issue if thhe pursuing officer ws to fall over he would inevitably end up with his trousers and cape alight 
by no means perfect as has some chips to the paint work
