c1907 Independent Photo Card Co~The First Attempt in Fence Climbing~Vintage Penny Arcade Humorous Postcard

  Note: There is not much info on Independent Photo Card Co. that I could find on the internet. They existed around the turn of the century at 7 Warren St in New York City and had advertisements that they would print 12 postcards from your original photo in magazine ads.  This comic postcard is on slightly thicker stock, and has slightly risque or off-color subject matter, which makes me think it was likely a penny arcade card often found in amusement parks & boardwalks, which required this thickness in order to be dispensed by coin operated machines.  I have a number of these cards listed right now. They are postcards, but look to be of the thickness of a penny arcade card, so go figure. If anyone has more information, by all means drop me a line.
