Genuine WW2 US Army Air Force - Air Transport Command Researchable Officers Garrison Cap.

The cap itself is in overall good condition, but due to age please expect minor signs of wear and use.

This is a great researchable piece, it has the chaps initials inside, J. T. K. and also has what seems to be the gents laundry number it seems to be K-5281 ??? It has a lovely 2nd Lieutenant bar accompanied by a silver marker Air Transport Command badge!

This is a ORs garrison cap due to the Air Corps piping however it was not uncommon for them to be used by junior officers.
