This is a sweet little tea spoon with an elephant motif.
I’ll go out on a limb and say this is solid silver even though it has no marks. It polishes nicely and I cannot see any wear through to plate as one might expect to the base. Possibly Indian-made.
It’s about 9.5 cm in length and weighs 9.7 grams.
The bowl is tarnished inside and to the base. Please see photos. There is a spec of pink paint/enamel to one ear of the elephant, which might indicate it was at one stage painted.
Happy to take more photos or answer questions. Will be sent as a tracked parcel with Australia Post.
