This 4" Temari ball is a varigated shades of pink , blue, and green. From Japan and it is traditionally made with a silk fabric interior ball, then a heavy like knitting yard wrapped, then wrapped with an embroidered weight yarn ending in a sewing thread weight thread. Then the center equator is found and divided and the pattern is woven over that. It is in Very Good Vintage condition.   All handmade and the workmanship is very good. This pattern is rare.  I'm downsizing and selling some of my collection of antiques, beaded flowers, temari balls, crochet , quilts and glassware. Please check out my other auctions as I add to them weekly.
