Drill with selection of drill bits. 8/8.5 or 9mm
Angle grinder with cutting disc
Screwdriver set
Ratchet and sockets – 8mm, 10mm, 13mm, 24mm
Spanners – 10mm, 13mm x 2
Pliers
Size 6 allen key
Hammer (club hammer or mallet is ideal)
Pencil or crayon for marking
Remember - a very basic level of DIY competence is needed, (but you don't need to be a mechanic)

Modifications required:
A few modifications to your van are needed in order to accommodate the power steering kit. You will need to make a cut along a bracket and drill 2 holes behind your steering column. Additionally if you have a MK2 vehicle, then you will make a small cut along one of the lower dash covers.
All of these are hidden from view once reassembled.
Completion time:
This whole procedure can be carried out by us in around 2.5 hours. But while taking your time and referring to the instructions, customers can typically add another 2 hours on to this.
