WW2, 1944 Free Polish Air Force Station Flag.  The swallow-tailed flag consists of horizontal bicolors of white and red, with the arms of Poland in the middle of the white stripe and the Air Force checkerboard in the white stripe between the coat-of-arms and the hoist.  The checkerboard and coat-of-arms are printed panels sewn on both sides of the flag.  All pieces are sewn together. The flag is stamped "Free Polish Air Force",  the date "1944", and the maker's mark "P.F. Humphreys, London".  In very good original condition, showing some service wear.  The flag measures 28.75 X 60 inches.
