Highly engraved Holton trumpet from the 1920s. Looks to be gold plated. Beautiful engraving on the bell and inside the flair. I bought it with the intention of rebuilding it over time, but with life and all the other projects I have, I need to pass this one on.

Trumpet needs some work to play well. Biggest issues:

Leadpipe has a leak in it

Valves will need to be rebuilt. These old Holtons were made with softer copper on the valves and the last 100 years of wear on this instrument show that.

I’m sure there’s other issues not listed, so study the pictures, this horn is sold as is. There are patches here and there. All slides and valves are loose and move. Case is a non original Conn case.

This is a project horn, I have no doubt it could make a wonderful player and looker with the right amount of time and care put into it.

I wish I could keep it but I have too many horns just sitting around.

I have this listed on another site, so if it’s gone, it’s gone.

Thanks for looking!
