9ct gold is the lowest purity of gold accepted in the UK, so you might have not seen a 5ct gold jewellery. 

There is no lower limit of accepted gold purity in Japan hence there are some 5ct gold jewellery available from high street shops.   

They wouldn't come with earring backs, so please use your own!
