We just lowered the price of this pristine doll. You will never see another doll that has been handled less. We hope it's winds up with an appreciative buyer

Whether you are collecting baseball cards, coins, automobiles or dolls one rules stands clear. Always invest in the best conditioned example and you will always come out a winner. One such opportunity unveils it self here. This 13" Shirley Temple doll was given to my mother circa 1939 when she enjoyed it briefly then in late 1939 or early 1940 she wrapped it in tissue paper and stored it away in a Hope cedar chest until now. The other dolls in the trunk are also mint as was her custom to look at something briefly then stored it away safely to protect them.

The doll's eyes are clear and open and shut as expected. She has the original tag attached to her dress. Her Scotty dog dress is considered as one if not the most desirable of her outfits.

The dress, underwear, socks and shoes are all perfect.

We carefully pulled back the dress in back to confirm the embossed name on her back. We didn't want to undo the safety pin and risk it's pristine condition. She is also embossed with Shirley Temple on her neck.

The original pin is attached and mint. There are some brown spots on her left leg. While told those are common we believe they would wipe clean but left untouched. Not sure if there was a box but doubtful so find the correct box to make this that $3,000 Shirley Temple example.

Collectors here's a chance to own a barely ever touched Shirley Temple doll with 100% provenance.
