calibration:
Tester calibration is used to eliminate errors in its own components, making the final test results more accurate. Calibration is divided into quick calibration and full-function calibration.
Quick calibration operation method: Use wires to short-circuit the three test points TP1, TP2, and TP3, then press the test button and observe the screen at the same time. The color of the screen changes to white text on a black background, and the prompt "Self-test mode..?" appears. After it appears, press the test button to enter the quick calibration process; if the prompt "Self-test mode..?" appears, if no button is pressed within 2 seconds , the normal test process will be carried out, and the resistance value of the wire shorted to TP1, TP2 and TP3 test points will finally be displayed. Once you enter the quick calibration process, some data will appear on the screen anyway. Wait for the flashing string to appear on the screen
"Isolate the probes!" After that, remove the wires shorting TP1, TP2 and TP3. Until the "Test End" string appears on the screen, the quick calibration is completed. When calibrating for the first time, please use the full-featured calibration mode.
Full-function calibration needs to be entered from the function menu, and a 220nf capacitor needs to be prepared. Full calibration performs a more comprehensive calibration process and takes longer. After entering the function menu, turn the test button to the menu item "Self-Test", and then press the test button to enter the full-function calibration process. The flashing string "Short Probe!" first appears on the screen. At this time, just like the quick calibration, short-circuit the three test points with wires and wait for the calibration process. The flashing string "Isolate probe!" When the string "1 - | | - 3>100nf" appears on the screen, it means that the prepared 220nf capacitors are installed on the test points TP1 and TP3. Wait until the screen prompts "Test Ended", then the full-function calibration process is completed.
