1974 Gibson EDS-1275 Double-Neck Walnut Electric Guitar w/ Original Case

Hey now! You're looking at yet another incredible vintage double-neck.
This is a 1974 Gibson EDS-1275 Double-Neck Electric Guitar.
It weighs 12 lbs 3 oz, 24.75" scale, 1.69" nut width
The serial number is 471017, and the only legible pot, both date this guitar to 1974 - awesome!
A quad of Gibson Patent etched humbuckers set in a solid mahogany body, housing two beautiful flamed maple necks (I personally love the 70's Gibson 3-piece maple necks - they're stunning, and a perfect tonal balance to the mahogany body).
This allows for the perfect balance of natural resonance and that famous Gibson mid-range push, to the brightness, and articulation of the maple.
Really the best of both worlds.
Awesome tone transfer, some sweet bridge crunch and syrupy neck sustains.
Two guitars in one! The upper neck offers true 12-string performance, all the jangle and tone you can handle.
Natural sounding chime and chorus.
The lower neck is a standard Gibson 6-string, allowing you to churn out your best interpretations of 'Stairway to Heaven'.
Grabbing up all this amazing tone are a quad of Gibson's patent etched humbuckers.
There is a reason this is one of the most famous guitars in rock history, that wrote one of its most famous songs.
Aside from its stunning aesthetics and incredible sound, the best part of this guitar is its condition.
It turned 50 years old this year, and you would not believe it.
Way passed a vintage grade, it's in great overall condition all around. Sure you have your typical marks/scratches, the dings and dents, some fret wear - all the expected stuff.
It was just professionally setup, so the necks are straight, and the frets are clean, only showing some wear.
Please carefully look through all of my detailed photos for a better visual description.
Don't miss out on a real piece of Gibson history with this 1974 EDS-1275.
Thanks for looking!
