RARE Amonett Saddlery Child's Custom Made Tooled Leather Double Cap Gun Holstern

MAKE AN OFFER!

This rare custom made child's belt and holster set was made in Roswell, NM by renowned saddle maker Amonett.

Set is stamped 4 times:

AMONETT SADDLER

MAKER

ROSWELL, N.M.

It dates probably to the 1950's,  may be older.

It is in very good condition as shown.  I considered putting black shoe polish on it which would make it look close to new and cover all the spots where the natural leather is seen.  I thought that may not be the best thing so I will leave that to the buyer if they choose.

It is quite well constructed and works as new.  Original hardware intact and looks and works as new.

It is 26 1/2" long from buckle to end that goes in the buckle.

Really well constructed.  Just like an adult cowboy six gun holster would be from the old west.  Leather is really thick and holsters where the guns go are very rigid.

About Amonett Saddlery:

E.T. Amonett (1868-1950) started out in the leather business as a harness maker. It is unknown if he was already a saddle maker when he moved his family to Roswell in 1898, where he purchased an existing saddle and leather shop. E.T. Amonett Saddlery quickly became one of the major businesses in the region.By 1912, E.T.’s recently married son, Edd Amonett (1892-1963), had joined his father as a leather worker and saddle maker. E.T. decided it was time to expand so, leaving Edd to operate the Roswell store, he opened a second location in El Paso.

This vintage child's tooled leather double cap gun holster is a must-have for any young cowboy or cowgirl. The intricate tooling on the leather adds an authentic feel to the holster, while the double cap gun design allows for dual play action. Whether you're a fan of Western movies or just looking for a unique toy for your child, this holster is sure to impress.
