Nice OM1 fitted with the standard 50mm f1.8 lens.

Smooth film advance.  All shutter speeds good.  Light meter reading accurately.  Prism good, with no de-silvering.  Focus screen clean.  I have fitted new light seals and mirror damper pads to it.  Lens glass in good condition.

Flash sync switch stuck in the default X position.  If you were to use this, that's the position you would use it in.  Light dust specks to eyepiece.  Motordrive socket cap on the base was missing.  I replaced it with a plastic disc that's held from behind with masking tape.  The original cap is just a dust cap, so this solution works perfectly well.  Lightest of scratches to baseplate.  Some tarnishing to the black paint on the front of the body.  I painted over it in places.  You can notice it when the light hits it, otherwise it's presentable.  Marks to prism cover from a hot shoe.  Scratching to rear of top plate.  Tiny chip to top plate, left-hand side.  Spots of tarnishing to brightwork here and there.

I buy and sell these cameras.  I'm not an expert by any means but I've repaired and sold hundreds of them.  I give them a thorough inspection and know what to look for on them, which means you know what you're buying and there won't be any nasty surprises for you.

This is what I have checked on the camera (any issues reported above):

Battery not supplied.  I would recommend a Wein Cell MRB 625 as it's the correct voltage (1.35V) and the correct size.  Being mechanical, the camera will work perfectly well without the battery.  The battery just works the light meter.

Choice of Special Delivery (next-day) or Tracked 48 postage.  Scroll down on the checkout page to see the delivery options.  Postage is actual postage cost.  I will post out same day if you purchase by 3pm, otherwise next day.

International shipping also available, by Royal Mail International Tracked.  EU prices include VAT which eBay adds to my prices.

I will leave feedback for you straight away when you make your payment.  My feedback is exemplary and I intend to keep it that way, so please purchase in full confidence.

Also selling other Olympus items.  Will happily combine postage (UK orders only).  Just go ahead and make your purchases, then leave me a note when you make your payment, or message me directly, to advise you have purchased multiple items.  I will then refund the excess postage.  I usually notice such purchases anyway, so would automatically combine the postage and issue the refund for the excess.  I think it's easier if you use the "add to basket" option when purchasing, then pay for all your purchases at once.  Either way, no problem.
