[Black Mist No.05] has been adjusted to half the softening effect of the currently available [Black Mist No.1]. [Black Mist No.1] has a moderate diffusion effect in scenes where the light diffusion is too strong, such as in strong backlighting or night scenes, but [No.0.5] provides a moderate diffusion effect. This filter is especially recommended for night scenes and backlit photography.

[Black Mist No. 0.5] creates a cinematic atmosphere when shooting night scenes by softly blurring the light source.
The moist texture that gives a sense of humidity, which is unique to Black Mist, is a perfect match for rainy scenes.
When a large light source such as a street lamp enters the screen, Black Mist No. 1 or other soft filters may emphasize the light source too much, but [No. 05] has a moderate diffusion effect.

The strength of the softening effect varies depending on the focal length of the lens you use. The effect is stronger on the telephoto side and weaker on the wide-angle side.
- Effects may vary depending on shooting conditions such as the type of light source.
- The effect seen through the viewfinder may differ from the actual shooting results (depending on print, monitor size, etc.).
- The atmosphere will change depending on how you adjust the exposure, so we recommend adjusting the exposure as needed.
- Although the exposure multiplier is set to 1/3 stop, this may not affect the exposure in actual shooting.
