Vintage Italian Tube Lined or Squiggle Vases. Suit MCM interior.
Probably 1950s -60's, often attributed to Fratelli Fanciullacci, but isn't everything? Maybe more likely Deruta or Febland?
The larger vase has a matt biscuit coloured body has bands of high gloss glazed circles at the neck,
base rim and mid body. Black lines, clearly hand painted travel through the central band. White tube lining
abounds. Base marked Italy plus possible monogram and 14 744/25?
The smaller conical vase is a patchwork of gloss colours blending into each other with squiggles of tube lining over. Base just marked Italy
MEASUREMENTS:
Larger Vase Height: 15.5 cm; Width: 9 cm; Weight: 265g.
Smaller Vase Height: 12 cm; Width: 7cm; Weight: 180g.
All approximate.
CONDITION:
Great vintage condition, no chips, flakes dinks or cracks. no repairs that I can see.
Some wear marks may be found due to age and previous use especially on the matt body of the larger vase.
