This is an antique glass pickle castor jar insert with a ground flat base, I believe that it was produced by George Duncan & Sons in the late 19th century, I have also seen it listed as being a Cane Rosette Pattern made in 1872. The octagonal shape features lovely decorated panels in a clear glass color and a fused glass production technique. The insert has a capacity of Approximately 8oz, It does not come with a lid. The item weighs 14oz and measures 4" in height and has a base width of 3" and a top width of 2-1/2". This piece would make a great addition to any collection of decorative antique glassware, dinnerware, and service ware. Please look over the many photos for all sides and read the conditions description for more details.
