This additional turbo intercooler was originally bought, at substantial cost, from and fitted by Jeremy Fearn a well known Land Rover diesel engine upgrader and tuner. Supplier's marking just still visible, see photo.

It was fitted to a Range Rover Classic 300TDI that had aircon fans etc. in front of radiator so mounted below chassis rails.  The pipework was routed through the standard (or upgraded) OE intercooler fitted to the vehicle thus increasing the intake air charge cooling further.

The two original alloy 50mm ID pipe bends are for this. Suitable silicone connecting hoses will be required.

With suitable pipe routing and brackets it should be possible to fit in alternative locations above chassis rails in front of radiator if required.

The intercooler is in good working condition. Internally there appears to be no oil build up and light is visible through the tubes indicating they are clear. Flushing through, while off the vehicle, would always be a good idea.

Size of core is 51.5 x 23.2 x 6 cm
Length including end "tanks" 61.5cm. Length including end spigot 66.5 cm. Length including side brackets 82 cm.
Spigots and pipes 50mm diameter.
