British currency; twelve-sided coin,
made from brass; this coin ceased to be
legal tender in August 1971; with new mauve organza gift bag with printed metallic design.
Diameter: 2.1cm
Size of gift bag: 8.4cm x 6.7cm
The obverse shows the head of Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by moulded lettering reading “+Elizabeth.II.Dei.Gratia.Regina.F:D:”
The reverse reads “Three pence”, with a portcullis design, with chains and a coronet.
Condition: Gift bag new. Coin circulated, with minor indentations/superficial scratching, very slight rubbing, and small dulled/darkened areas, consistent with normal use; cleaned gently with soap. Please see photos.
