Antique Guitar Zither, No. 2.
Believe this is a Columbia brand zither, though not marked, as it matches pictures of other Columbia zithers.
Label inside states "No. 2 MADE IN U.S.A."
Scale label states"Patented May 29, 1894"
Good Condition:
- All strings intact and tight, may not be original (one broken string loose in box)
- All parts appear intact and solid
- Wood frame appears to be in good shape, no cracks or splits, some small gaps along joints
- Finish has some aging and mild crazing
Includes:
- Original box, cardboard with corner separator for small parts storage. Box is in poor shape.
- Tuning key
- Wire music stand, fits in two hole along diagonal edge of frame
- Self Instructor booklet, by S.G.Cook, in both English and German
