The basket has a beautiful brown color and was created between 1900-1949 in the US-Northeast region. This original piece is a great find for collectors of primitive style and is listed by a dealer or reseller. The basket is made of wood and has a 12 pint capacity. Basket is not excessively strong, but one of the coolest decorating items I have seen in awhile
