**  SHERLOCK HOLMES - FACES DEATH  **

> A 1943 Universal Pictures release,
starring: Basil Rathbone, Nigel Bruce,
Hillary Brooke, Dennis Hoey, Milburn Stone.

> Appear to be a mix of early and later stills.
> A couple with a studio snipe attached describing the scene.

> During WWII, Holmes (Rathbone) and Dr. Watson (Nigel Bruce),
attempt to solve the mystery of several murders at a 
convalescent home where Watson is volunteering!

> (1) Hand SIGNED by Milburn Stone, who stars as
"Captain Vickery"!
> Personalized: "To Blackie"!

CONDITION: A few with heavy handling/surface wear/creasing.
Others fairly nice.

> ESTATE NOTE: In the months to come I will be listing many movie memorabilia items; posters, stills (including autographed), lobby cards etc, from the estate of a Worcester MA collector, who collected Universal Studios items for decades. 

Many of these items will have the collector's archive stamp "Pentagram Library" on reverse.

The collection WAS being handled by Chester Clarke, selling on eBay as "Stilltherllbemore".

Sadly, Chester (a personal friend) passed away in 2020. Yet, as it goes, still there will be more to come!
