This is a classic patterns by Gertie aka designer Gretchen Hirsch. It’s no wonder she has such a devoted following with retro-inspired styles like this one!

This classic style reminds me of the wrap jackets and coats that were popular in the 1940’s. It’s has shoulder pads and a nipped-in waist for a feminine silhouette.

The jacket is hip length and the coat or coat dress hits at about the knee. The pattern has lengthen and shorten lines that indicate where you can adjust the length to suit you.

It’s designed for light to medium weight woven fabrics like boucle, gabardine, pinwale corduroy, or crepe. The contrast collar can be crepe, taffeta, and more.

Pattern is uncut, and factory-folded from a non-smoking home.
