Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique vintage lighting. This an antique Nautical ship's block pulley that was made into a table lamp many years ago. The block pulley is antique and made of oak. There are a few numbers impressed in the oak. The front badge looks to have been replaced long ago with a diamond shaped piece of copper. On the underside of the lamp there is a Union stamp on the wood used for the base. The lamp looks like it was made in the 1970s or so. Lamp works great. Cord looks good. As with any of my electrical items, I recommend that the piece be inspected by an electrician before use. The shade has been with the lamp , and comes eithit. Lamp shade is As Is. The shade has dents and bends( mostly on back of shade). There are wear areas on the shade. The piece displays beautifully and would be a great accent piece in a Nautical collection. The lamp is pretty good size and is very heavy. Keep that in mind as shipping costs reflect this. The lamp is about 23 1/2" to top of finial. Collectible 20th Century table lamp using an antique ship's block pulley.  Selling as pictured. If a piece is not dated, the exact date is approximate and a guestimation.  BID WITH CONFIDENCE .
