Here are 6 different bars of my handmade Cold Process Soap. There are 3 bars, 3-1/4"×2-1/2"×1" that weigh over 4.5oz each, 2 bars, 2-3/4"×2"×1" that weigh over 3oz each, and 1 bar, 2-1/2"×1-7/8"×1" that weighs over 2.5oz.

Ingredients:

OLIVE OIL, DISTILLED WATER, COCONUT OIL, LARD, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, COCOA BUTTER, SHEA BUTTER, COCONUT MILK, CASTOR OIL, FRAGRANCE, SODIUM LACTATE, KAOLIN, MICA/PIGMENT/TITANIUM DIOXIDE

The larger bars are: Milk & Honey (with added honey), Lake Retreat and Grapefruit Mint.

The smaller bars are ocean themed, with similar fresh, aquatic scents. These three bars all have "embeds" made from glycerin soap.

Glycerin Soap Embeds:

Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Stearic Acid, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Myristic Acid, Lauric Acid, Mica/Pigment/Titanium Dioxide

All 6 bars are shrink wrapped and labeled with ingredients. I have been making soap for almost 20 years and enjoy creating recipes to ensure a gentle, luxurious bar of soap that looks and smells delightful!

Soapmaking is a chemical reaction. Oils & butters in a soap recipe have their fatty acid chains broken apart by the sodium hydroxide (NaOH), then all of those chemical components re-combine into soap. Glycerin, a natural humectant is created during this process. Each oil & butter contributes to the overall performance of the finished soap, whether it is the amount of bubbles, moisturizing level, how deeply it cleans, or how hard the bar will be. Formulated correctly, all of the sodium hydroxide (lye) in a soap recipe is broken into its different parts (sodium, oxygen & hydrogen) and there are still some fatty acids that don't turn into soap. This is an added layer of moisturizing in the soap, and a guarantee that the soap will not be "lye-heavy" and caustic.

I love the science & art of making soap, and use my handmade soap for face, body & hands. These are formulated to be gentle and moisturizing.

To prolong the "life" of your soap bar, make sure it isn't sitting in water between uses.

These bars fit perfectly in a small flat rate USPS mailing box, but you can choose USPS Ground Advantage if it is cheaper, or even free local pick up.
