Jose Ramirez is one of the world's most famous classical guitar makers.
Ramirez I established his own workshop in 1882, and his advanced manufacturing techniques were passed down to the second generation.
It is no exaggeration to say that the tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation is the history of Spanish guitars itself.
The "1a" guitar we have just received was made in 1979 and is a well-known Ramirez instrument.
The front board is made of cedar and rosewood, and the back board is lined with a sheepskin lining, showing Ramirez's unique technique.
The nut width is about 54mm and the string length is 664mm.
The condition of the guitar has some scratches and dents that are commensurate with its age, but there is no damage that would significantly impair its appearance.
There is a section of the fingerboard on the 6th string side where the paint has fallen off due to a sticker that was previously attached as a position mark.
The backboard has a 10cm long crack that has been repaired, but the inside of the body has been repaired with a crack stopper.
The lower part of the bridge on the front board is slightly distorted, and there are signs that the bridge has been repositioned.
There is no significant warping of the neck, and the current string height at the 12th fret is approximately 4.3mm on the 6th string side and 3mm on the 1st string side.

The fact that there are some minor scuffs and scratches mainly on the lower part of the sound hole on the first string side indicates that the instrument has been played well.
