This kit features Laser etched and cut basswood and birch components
with a wealth of detail including simulated rail plate imprints and spike details as the prototype was built utilising second hand sleepers
Handrails are laser cut Birchwood and a Kenny Hill name board is included but of course some modellers will be renaming the station to their own needs and wants. The included nameboard can be used as a dimensional aid if making your own nameboard.
The kit is representative of Kenny Hill on the long closed Camden Line (south west of Sydney). However, this style of platform was used at many other locations and offers much visual impact, while taking up very little layout real estate.
The finished model is 146mm in total length with an 84mm main deck and 31mm ramps at either end. It is a low level platform as per many branch line stations of this type of size and design. All handrail timbers and posts are included.
This kit comes to you with extensive instructions, diagrams and weathering tips etc.
