The Rigid Airship USA Inc. company was founded in 2007 by a group of engineers and entrepreneurs who were passionate about airships. The company's goal was to develop a new generation of rigid airships that would be more efficient and cost-effective than the airships of the past.

The company's first airship, the Skyship 600, was designed to carry up to 60 passengers and cargo. The Skyship 600 was powered by two diesel engines and had a top speed of 50 knots. The airship was also equipped with a parachute system that could be used in the event of an emergency.

The Skyship 600 made its maiden flight in 2012 and was certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in 2014. The airship has been used for a variety of purposes, including tourism, cargo transport, and environmental monitoring.

In 2019, Rigid Airship USA Inc. was acquired by Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) and it is therefore no longer trading as a stock. HAV is a British company that is developing a new generation of hybrid airships that are powered by a combination of helium and electric motors.

The HAV Airlander 10 is the company's flagship airship. The Airlander 10 is designed to carry up to 100 passengers and cargo. The airship is powered by four electric motors and has a top speed of 100 knots. The Airlander 10 is also equipped with a parachute system that can be used in the event of an emergency.

The Airlander 10 made its maiden flight in 2016.
