The base plate is Mayfair china with a gold rim, partly worn.
The middle is Elizabaethan china and the top is Meakin

Sturdy gold tone metal rods and round handle
No chips, cracks or crazing. Very good glaze There is a slight loss of gilt to the rim of the base plate
