Art Deco Wardrobes are proud to present this gorgeous pair of 1930’s French bedside cabinets. This stunning pair are veneered top, front and sides with beautifully contrasting figured walnut veneer. A particularly attractive feature are tie open shelves to either side which are really handy if you want a bedtime read but prefer to keep the top clear for a lamp. The veneers to the front and top are completely matching, telling us they started off life together as a pair. The doors are handed and are also slightly bowfronted with rounded shoulders softening their look. The cupboards below are of a really decent size. Each door having a very neat catch which takes very little effort to open and close with a nice click. The handles are particularly lovely, each having a faux tortoise shell pull which is mounted on a matching conical collar and the whole mounted on a phenolic tangerine coloured circular backplate giving these cabinets some real pazazz.

The feet are all original and they are presented in fabulous condition having passed through our workshops. Ideal for lower beds, and could even be used as lamp tables either end of a sofa with their book storage facility.
